House of Holland S/S 2011
Henry Holland is just one of these people you want to meet and be like "mate what were you thinking?" but not in a bad way!! Infamous for his Eighties teen persona, Holland decided to take a step back in time and go one decade further than his usual.. Flared pants, pleated skirts, sheer shirts, metallic hot shorts, flared sleeves on a denim shirt and lots of fringe. With a focus on mainly four colours, he incorporated his narrow palette into different patterns in every design. He played it cool and then rocked the finale by sending down 2 models in those 'skimpy-but- i- want-one' gold dresses.
This collection is so much fun, it's made me happy just looking at it. I'm in love with the little denim playsuit with Silver metallic stars..Now let's wait and see if those poof earrings become a hit, i'm a sucker for fluffy things!
