Burberry Prorsum S/S 2011
What a show! The build up to this was as exciting for those at home as it was for those in London, with two videos from Christopher Bailey personally inviting everyone to watch live as his creations hit the runway. Granted the streaming was barely holding up with the insane amount of traffic, it was yet again a fabulous experience.
And on to the collection. Biker jackets.. biker jackets.. and biker jackets!!
If there's one thing everyone will be investing in this spring it will be either a Burberry, or a look-alike of these amazing jackets Bailey created. Studs, spikes and gobstoppers lined the collars, shoulders and elbows of some spectacularly hot leather jackets in a way that makes rock chic seem like the only way to go.
I adore this collection and i can probably go on for a while about Bailey's amazing ability to create the sexiest trench coats, dresses and skin tight pants.
But i'll leave you with this... how cool was the model that took her heels off?
