David Koma S/S 2011
Can simplicity define perfection? The answer is yes, as proven by the collection presented by David Koma at London fashion week. By extracting the crazy runway bedazzlement factor from the show and focusing on the monochrome looks, Koma pulls your eyes to the detailing in the cuts and tailoring of each piece. While working with a palette of whites, soft peachy pinks, stunning golds and dark blacks, Koma worked the colours slowly into one another. With white dresses getting a hint of pink in the form of puffy skirts or lining down the front of a dress, to black complimenting white and vice versa, to soft yellows that melt into strong golds. It was a roller-coaster ride of absolute perfection!!
I had to zoom in to truly appreciate the work and detailing that went into the collection i effortlessly fell in love with.
