For four weekends only Portobello Market will be home to ‘Fresh Fashion Flash’, a pop-up market filled with new fashion and accessories, designed by fashion students and graduates. Launching on 16 October, the market will take place every Saturday and Sunday for one month. It hopes to enable a new generation of talent to promote and sell their collections, while giving shoppers at Portobello Market the opportunity to discover and support young designers. The stalls are being given to the participants free of charge and the pop-up market could become something more permanent if it is a success. Students and graduates from London College of Fashion, Ravensbourne, Kensington & Chelsea College, University of Westminster, University of East London and UCA, among others, have been invited to take part in the pop-up market.
