Marie Claire has announced the launch of its first iPhone app – Beauty Genius. Marie Claire has developed the paid-for app featuring how-to videos, presented by top make-up artists and stylists, including renowned celebrity make-up artist Jackie Tyson, who has worked with the likes of Sienna Miller, Lily Allen, Katy Perry and Yasmin Le Bon. Users can learn how to recreate Cheryl Cole’s waves or Kate Bosworth’s red pout with Jackie’s exclusive collection of Celebrity Looks. At present there are six celebrity looks to choose from and videos on how to create their eyes, skin, lips, hair and total look, with Marie Claire recommendations on products to achieve this. The Marie Claire Beauty Genius iPhone app is available to download from the iTunes App Store for £1.19. Beauty Genius is coming soon for iPad.
