CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund
The CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund awarded Billy Reid, an Alabama based fashion designer the award the top prize this year for his work. Reid was awarded $300,000 for his business as well as a one-year mentorship with a leading industry professional.
Other designers considered for the prize were jewelery designer Eddie Borgo and fashion designers Prabal Gurung and Altuzarra.
The dinner was attended by the likes of Carey Mulligan, Mario Testino, Alexa Chung, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, Anna Paquin, Christina Ricci, Leighton Meester, Blake Lively, and Chanel Iman, as well as desginer like Karl Lagerfeld, Zac Posen, Peter Som and Diane Von Furstenberg.
