LOOKBOOK: KAGE FALL 2011 COLLECTION

Dubai based label KAGE just released these photos showing the latest looks from their Fall 2011 collection modeled by Dubai fashionistas, Haya and Sama Abu-Khadra.. So I picked my favs for you to see here. I  have to say that KAGE always impresses me with their mix of designs and there are definitely a few pieces here I would like to get my hands on. LOOKBOOK: POCA & POCA - EXCLUSIVE BLOGGERS PREVIEW

 

On Monday, The Fashion Network hosted an exclusive preview for bloggers of the latest collection by Poca&Poca.. a label we all LOVE! So we headed down to O concept and met up with designer Karolina Gniewek who showed us the new pieces and we got to try them on.. I obviously fell in love with 2 and after long contemplation myself and Wiktor (Karolina's brother, who's launching the men's line for Poca&Poca in September and is also a model and is just all round super adorable) decided to have a voting system. He voted 5 times that I should buy the orange over the black!

Anyways...There are very few pieces available of every look and this is part of what keeps the collection unique, so head down to O Concept where the pieces are available now.

LOOKBOOK: MALABABA .. SPRING/SUMMER '11

I recently stumbled on a Spanish leather goods label callel Malababa. Created in 1997 by Ana Carrasco, a  pharmacy & chemistry graduate, as a design project, the brand quickly grew due to Ana's passion for fashion.

Every piece in the collection is handmade by a team of Spanish artisans that use traditional methods to create the high quality pieces.

I love so many pieces in the collection which incorporates many different styles but is consistent in elegance. The collection focuses on shoes and bags with the addition of belts, wallets, headbands and accessories. 

 These are some of my favourite pieces from the latest Malababa collection.

Flirty little Issa dresses!

Designer Daniella Helayel has put together a capsule collection of 6 brightly coloured lace dresses that, in her words, "can be worn from the beach to the office and then onto the red carpet". I've always loved lace and take pride in the amount of lace tops and dresses I own, mostly in black and nude. But these.. My god .. I just want to jump in one and party.

The collection includes; a halter neck dress, a one-shoulder dress, a strapless dress, a cap-sleeve dress and 2 long sleeved dresses in colours ranging form white to bright blue.

Alice & Olivia designer, Stacey Bendet, has launched her debut shoe collection for the brand. I love this label and its collections, so colourful, young and flirty. The latest lookbook incorporates the new shoe collection with some gorgeous pieces of clothing, check it out below.
