Chanel's Pre-Fall 2011 Métiers d'Art collection

This week Chanel's pre-fall collection was shown in Paris. The collection was inspired by the Byzantine times, so naturally my love of history of art and architecture has made me fall in love with the 14 pieces created by Karl Lagerfeld for the season.

The pieces remained loyal to Chanel's monochrome styles,while incorporating heavy jewelery and the richness of the gold colour in a selection of tweeds and silk. Never one to fail to impress, Lagerfeld has yet again got me fantasising about these pieces. Especially #5, #7, and #14!! Perfection.
