VOGUE Fashion’s Night Out global dates announced

The international editions of VOGUE today (11 April) announce dates for the global shopping celebration, Fashion’s Night Out 2011. There will be 17 countries participating in Fashion’s Night Out, all aiming to support the fashion and retail businesses.

Fashion’s Night Out 2011 dates:

• Russia - 6 September

• Spain - 7 September

• UK, Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Korea, Mexico, Portugal, Brazil (São Paulo) & USA - 8 September

• Brazil (Rio) - 9 September

• Taiwan and India - 10 September

• China - 11 September

• Greece and Turkey - 15 September

Alexandra Shulman, editor of British VOGUE, comments “We’re delighted to draw people’s attention to the fact that fashion and retail are a hugely important and enjoyable part of the country’s economy - last year we had 270 stores in central London participating, while shoppers embraced the mood in what felt like one large party.
