Agent Provocateur debuts home collection

Lingerie label Agent Provocateur has announced a debut home collection launching for Autumn 2011. The boudoir-esque range includes bed linens with silk trims and suede fringing, as well as a selection of towels for the bathroom and beach in a selection of prints and fabrics. The range also features accessories, which include a pure cashmere throw and cushion with suede fringe detailing; a fully fringed soft suede cushion; and a 100% silk quilt and bolster.

James Harrison designs new collection for made.com

James Harrison, winner of Elle Decoration Young Designer of the Year 2007, has designed a new range of seating for made.com. The Jonah Collection’s single seat cushions and integrated back have been upholstered without middle seams, and employ slims legs to add a feeling of lightness. The curves which run throughout the pieces give a retro feel while the integral supportive shape and spring seat and back maintain comfort. Made in Britain and upholstered in linen mix, the pieces come in a choice of a Berry Red and Warm Grey. The Jonah Armchair is available for £375.00, the Jonah 2 Seater Sofa is £499.00 and the Jonah 3 Seater Sofa is £599.00.

The Sleep Room introduces new designs

The Sleep Room is set to introduce its first new bed for 2011, Nomad, a colonial-inspired addition with a hand-weaved rattan headboard and a white finish.

Following the launch of The Sleep Room’s range of bedside tables, Nomad is the second chapter to the brand’s new bedroom furniture and accessories collection, which is set to continue throughout the year.

Laura Ashley launches new Design Service Studio in London

Laura Ashley is launching a dedicated Design Service Studio on the first floor of the King's Road store next week. The new Design Studio service is available exclusively by appointment and following each consultation, the customer will receive a design pack, mood boards and cost estimates, in addition to help sourcing local decorators and curtain fitters.

A team of over 70 interior designers are available nationwide, trained to create individual room schemes, attuned to customer tastes and needs. Laura Ashley Design Studio is also offering home visits to help develop ideas, guide choices and offer practical advice.

The Laura Ashley Interior Design Service covers all regions of the UK and Ireland. The two room scheme costs £100.00 with larger projects from £200.00.

Fashion label East introduces debut homeware collection

EAST is launching a limited edition lifestyle range ‘EAST at Home’ on 14 March. The new range is inspired by founder Penny Oliver’s travels to India. All the pieces are created in the city of Jaiphur and hand printed, crafted and stitched with traditional skills that have been handed down from generation to generation.

The Kanther range consists of bright jewel coloured floral prints and comes in four different colourways – bright pink, turquoise, white and black. The ‘kanther’ name comes from the traditional stitching style of is loosely stitched lines all over the printed fabric. The Anokhi range for SS11 comes is three different prints, and is more delicate in design. The prints within this range are hand block prints that have been hand dyed and have a different design on each side.

In addition to the soft furnishings, make-up bags and kimonos will be added for the Summer. Prices range from £8.00 for a make up bag to £125.00 for a large quilted cover. The full range will be available at www.east.co.uk with edited pieces available in selected stores nationwide.

The Sleep Room launches new furniture collection

Online bed specialist The Sleep Room has announced the launch of a new range of stylish bedside tables. The three designs, 'Bella', 'Campaign' and 'Mimi', make up the first installment of the new bedroom furniture and accessories collections with more to come later this year.

The 1940’s inspired Campaign offers a hand-finished oak top contrasted against vintage bronze-finished metal legs and is priced at £225.00. The Bella bedside table (pictured here), priced at £245.00, takes its inspiration from an original French antique design, is hand-carved from weathered oak and features a useful drawer. The Mimi design, priced at £195.00, is made from sustainably sourced weathered oak and can be twinned with The Sleep Room’s range of French beds. John Lewis introduces homeware for children

John Lewis is launching its first-ever own range of homeware for children from 16 January 2011. Covering every aspect of domestic life, from kitchen and bathroom, to living room and bedroom, the Little Home range has over 400 product lines providing the opportunity to mix and match according to existing style. The ‘Here There and Everywhere’ collection (shown here) includes a duvet cover with pillow case and can be matched with the van boudoir cushion and car fleece throw. In addition, there are a number of bedroom accessories to ensure a coordinated look can be created. These include; Little Home letters, Life Saver cushion, Ahoy There Bunting, and Robot table lamp, The Little Home cookware range sets of silicone cupcake cases, Robot cupcake moulds, Robot cake tins and Little Home basting brushes and rolling pins. New collection from David Redman London

New from David Redman London is this collection of flower inspired fragrance bottles. Designed by David Redman, each bottle exhibits a flower which has been created with hot coloured molten glass that is applied within the clear glass of the bottle. This is a skilled process and gives each flower a three dimensional aspect. Each bottle is 20cm high x 8cm wide and has an elegant stopper that is finished with English hallmarked sterling silver collar. Pictured here, from left to right are, Blue Gentian, Orchid and Fuschia. Presented in a luxury gift box, each bottle retails at £475.00.

Homes & Gardens launches fabric and wallpaper collection

IPC Media's licensing and syndication business IPC Plus - working together with Baker Lifestyle, part of the GP&J Baker group, has announced the launch of a new fabric and wallpaper collection for Homes & Gardens. The Homes & Gardens Collection aims to classically English but with a modern feel. The range spans fabrics and wallpapers, offering over 90 variations of florals, stripes, toiles and graphic patterns. All are either inspired by designs from GP&J Baker’s archive or newly created by Baker Lifestyle designer Val Healy. Christened with names of English country houses and gardens such as Mottisfont, Charlecote and Chillingham, the Homes & Gardens Collection will be available from the end of September at a range of stockists as well as all John Lewis stores. Homes & Gardens will feature the new collection within a special supplement in its November issue, out early October.

Lara Bohinc launches first ever range of homeware

Turning Leaf, the Californian wine brand, has appointed Lara Bohinc as its second ‘Designer in Residence’ for Autumn/Winter 2010. The collaboration will see the jewellery designer create her first ever range of homeware and a limited edition bottle. This follows on from the collaboration for Spring/Summer with hot design duo, Basso & Brooke. The first product to launch from the collaboration is the limited edition bottle (pictured above). Inspired by the changing seasons and Turning Leaf wines, Lara has blended her signature use of metalwork with Turning Leaf’s iconic leaf motif to create an intricate leaf patterned metal design. This will adorn Turning Leaf’s ‘Pinot Grigio’ and ‘Cabernet Sauvignon’ bottles in the form of ‘bottle jewellery’ – a decorative limited edition sleeve for the bottle. There are two designs, rose gold to reflect the warm tones of the Cabernet Sauvignon and yellow gold metal to reflect the and the citrus notes of the Pinot Grigio. The full range of Lara’s limited edition home dining items for Turning Leaf will be launched later in the season and will be available at selected boutiques and online retailers, including Lara’s Sloane Street store.

Ripples launches latest touchless lighting range

Bathroom manufacturer Ripples has introduced its latest mirror cabinets with touchless lighting. Faceline, pictured here, uses a sensor-controlled lighting system with basic light on the bottom and a supplementary light source on top to ensure optimum viewing conditions day and night. The unit, priced at £830.73, contains sockets for extra power and soft door closure for extra convenience and an accessory box with magnifying mirror on the adjustable glass shelf.
