John Lewis introduces homeware for children

John Lewis is launching its first-ever own range of homeware for children from 16 January 2011. Covering every aspect of domestic life, from kitchen and bathroom, to living room and bedroom, the Little Home range has over 400 product lines providing the opportunity to mix and match according to existing style. The ‘Here There and Everywhere’ collection (shown here) includes a duvet cover with pillow case and can be matched with the van boudoir cushion and car fleece throw. In addition, there are a number of bedroom accessories to ensure a coordinated look can be created. These include; Little Home letters, Life Saver cushion, Ahoy There Bunting, and Robot table lamp, The Little Home cookware range sets of silicone cupcake cases, Robot cupcake moulds, Robot cake tins and Little Home basting brushes and rolling pins. John Lewis introduces a host of new fashion labels

John Lewis has unveiled new boutique brands for Autumn/Winter 2010. New brands to grace the fashion floor include chic womenswear label Mint Velvet, BZR, the diffusion line of Danish fashion house, Bruuns Bazaar, will be a department store exclusive for John Lewis. Inspiration for this season is Italian style, with double breasted sailor coats, fluid dresses, shortened skirts and trousers with narrow legs. John Lewis womenswear welcomes a collection of raincoats, coats and leisure wear from notable British brand, Aquascutum. Mayfair Richard James, exclusively stocked by John Lewis in Europe, is a 40 piece collection of ready-to-wear suits by the Savile Row tailor starting from under £400.00, as well as outerwear, shirts and accessories. The collection will debut in four John Lewis stores and online at johnlewis.com, while US department store Bloomingdale’s will be launch the collection simultaneously in the United States. John Lewis also welcomes Lauren by Ralph Lauren – menswear and womenswear. The Lauren menswear collection is exclusive to John Lewis and will include a range of dress shirts for 15 stores. Fin’s footwear for men will be showcased in John Lewis this season. The colourful leathers and suedes are bespoke dyed and the moccasin structure hand-stitched. G Star and Diesel will also be sold in John Lewis stores this Autumn/Winter, expanding the range of denim.

New collection from Celia Birtwell launches into John Lewis

Celia Birtwell has designed a second collection for John Lewis that is launching this Autumn/Winter. The iconic 1960s fashion and textiles designer has created an 18 piece collection that remains true to her characteristic bohemian style and includes chiffon and layered silk dresses, pussy bow neck blouses and accessories embellished with studding and embroidery. Available at selected John Lewis branches and online at johnlewis.com, the vintage style collection will be released in two halves with nine pieces available in late August and the remainder hitting stores in October.

Pistol Panties designs exclusive collection for John Lewis

This season sees swimwear label, Pistol Panties design an exclusive collection of figure-enhancing swimwear for John Lewis. The eight piece assortment will be available in-store and online from 1 May. The brand is favoured by the fashion set including Jade Jagger, Kate Moss and Sophie Dahl. These high quality, engineered designs start at £55.00 for bikini sets and £65.00 for one piece swimsuits. Uncompromising on quality and style, the ‘Disco’ collection uses very fine micro-fibre which makes the fabric ultra soft and very supportive. The range of bikinis includes the halterneck ‘Brigitte’ with bow detail; the floral ‘Marilyn’ with tiered brief and the balconette ‘Betty’ in cute retro polka dot print. Sophisticated swimsuits include the classic cut ‘Jane’ halterneck and the ruffled one-shoulder ‘Lola’.
