Winners announced for the P&G Beauty & Grooming Awards

The seventh annual P&G Beauty & Grooming Awards took place last night (2 June) at BAFTA. The awards were created by P&G Beauty & Grooming to reward the talented and creative within the beauty and grooming industry, and to continue to demonstrate its commitment and passion to the UK Beauty and Grooming sector.


This year the awards were hosted by TV presenter George Lamb and guest who attended included editors, publishers, and potential award-winning beauty and grooming journalists and bloggers. Also present were key industry figures and this year’s judging panel representing the world of beauty, style, fashion and literature. The expert panel for 2011 comprised: Professor Louise Wilson OBE (MA Fashion Course Director, Central Saint Martins); Maggie Alderson (ex-editor of ELLE, ES Magazine and Best Selling Author); Kim Hunt (Creative Director and Writer); and Marie Helvin (Model and Author).

Shortlist launches pop-up shop and names Grooming Awards winners 2011

The Shortlist Grooming Awards 2011 took place earlier this week. This years awards took place at Harrods in Knightsbridge and were presided over by the following judges: Catherine Bossom, Roja Dove, David Gandy, Fadi El Rachdi, Annalise Quest, James Read, Johnnie Sapong, Ahmed Zambarakji and Adrian Clark. To coincide with the awards, Shortlist has opened a pop-up shop in Harrods, where customers will be able to buy the award-winning products from the shop until 26 February. David Gandy was named as the 'The Face of Today' at the ceremony and is pictured above collecting the award with Marigay McKee, Fashion & Beauty Director or Harrods, and Adrian Clark, Style Director of Shortlist. FHM Grooming Awards names winners

The December issue of Bauer Media's men's lifestyle brand FHM includes the results of the annual FHM Grooming Awards. Now in its eleventh year, the awards are voted for entirely by FHM readers. The response to the awards was included 54,000 votes cast, showing the importance of grooming to the readership. FHM currently has 1.2 million readers, 1.3 million unique users and 100,000 facebook friends. The winners are:

GQ announces 2011 Grooming Award Winners

GQ has announced the winners of the third annual GQ Grooming Awards 2011. Judged by a panel of styling experts, this year’s awards include three new categories; Best New Tanning Product, Best New Target Hair Solution and Fragrance Launch of the Decade. The Awards were announced at a special breakfast at Harvey Nichols today (5 October). Winners of the P&G Beauty and Grooming Awards announced

The sixth annual P&G Beauty & Grooming Awards took place last night at Sketch. Created by P&G Beauty & Grooming, the awards were created to reward the talented and creative within the beauty and grooming world, and to further demonstrate their commitment to the UK beauty and grooming industry. 350 guests were in attendance including editors, publishers, and potential award-winning beauty and grooming journalist themselves. Also present were key industry figures and this year’s distinguished judging panel representing the world of beauty and grooming, style, photography, literature and the digital sector. The expert industry panel comprised of Richard Young (Photographer) JMaskrey (Crystal jewellery & fashion designer and make up artist), Lisa Jewell (Author), Graham Barber (Gentlemen’s Tonic), Tiger Savage (Creative Director), Sushma Sagar (Retail Marketing Manager, Ben Sherman) and Andre Schmidt (Bundle Tech).
