NY Fashion Week: Alexander Wang F/W '11

Infamously known for his grungy, asymmetrical and very dark designs, Alexander Wang return this season with a collection that reminded me of why I've always had a love affair with his creations.
Ditching the more trendy consumer styles which he presented last season, Wang went back to what he's truly good at this year. Sending out one piece after the other of perfect fall garments, featuring ponchos, capes, hoodies and the most amazing sweater dresses. With a rather familiar palette of greys, blacks and creams, Wang brought back the asymmetrical hemline to his collection in many of the skirts and jackets.
Tuxedo pants, girly shirts, tough biker looks and messy formal wear are all aspects of this 39 piece collection, and my verdict is.. The man knows what he's doing when it comes to this almost androgynous style.. And I love it!
