{Engy M.}I gasped at pretty much every single piece of this collection, it literally stole my heart. The dresses bring about so much romanticism through the both designs and the delicate fabrics used like lace, taffeta, tulle and chiffon. It gives you an almost Victorian feel. Everything about these pieces are just mesmerizing. Every little detail is so full of design. Even the colour pallete contributes to that Victorian and romantic feel, keeping it limited to neutrals, black and red but still being able to make every piece so different.Im truly amazed.
{Maha M.} I have to add that every season Marchesa absolutely takes my breath away. Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig have certainly secured their spot in the couture field, with season after season of show stopping gowns. I'm always stunned by the amount of embroidering that goes into their creations without ever crossing over the dangerous tacky line. As intricate as the detailing on these pieces of art are, i can't help but always feel a vibe of utter rawness from this designer duo. Could be the way shredded tulle and lace are used on their pieces, or could just be me.
