Daniel Blake launches new luxury men`s shirt label

E One Six London is a new luxury line of men's shirts which launched this week. The E One Six London collection has been created by fashion designer Daniel Blake (known for his womenswear label). The fabrics and shirts are produced in a single European factory, with at least 35 separate parts going into the construction of one shirt. Designs in the 2010 collection will retail at around £140.00 depending on the style. The debut collection from E One Six London is available via the website which went live this week and also from luxury menswear retailers in the near future. www.eonesixlondon.com

Eccentric Shirts

Eccentricshirts.com was launched recently by Peter Barnett, who already runs a business manufacturing clothing for leading specialist shirt retailers, many of whom are by Royal Appointment. Demand for special orders was such that Peter decided to launch eccentricshirts.com in December 2009. The Spring collection spans a wide spectrum ranging from the more conventional pink, through to the ‘extreme’ eccentric collection. This consists of flamboyant floral prints of roses (Rosie), tropical palms (Tikki) and the ‘Help for Heroes’ Union Jack shirt (Lulu) of which £10.00 is being donated to the charity for every shirt sold. Other designs available include shirts with split-windscreen ‘60s VW camper vans (Becky); with surfboards (Shruti); with retro ‘60s drinks’ bottle tops (Topsy). All of the latest shirts are made from quality two fold cotton poplin fabric and lawns. To add to the eccentricity of the site, all the men’s shirts are given a female name along with a quirky story accompanying the item (women’s shirts will follow soon, with men’s names). Prices start from £50.00.
